Feminine Nouns formation - exceptions

Feminine nouns can be formed from masculine ones by just adding a suffix.

The various exceptions of the formation of feminine nouns are:

• Nouns with -tor or -ter: change to -tr and add -ess.

• Nouns with -e: add -ss.

• Nouns with stressed vowel + consonant: double the consonant and add -ess.
